Position Summary:

As a Tura sales representative you’ll work in an assigned geographic territory, making face-to-face visits to existing Tura accounts and potential new customers. The majority of your time will be in the territory selling Tura’s brand portfolio and growing and maintaining customers. This is not a job that you can do from the comfort of your home via calls and emails – we want you in the field. This sales representative position is the right opportunity for individuals who are driven by sales success and exceeding expectations. Tura provides uncapped earning potential. This job is eligible for a base salary, plus a commission-based compensation structure, along with health care benefits and 401K.

Pay Range:

$75,000 - $100,000 in salary and commissions when sales goals are achieved.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Represent Tura’s brand portfolio to independent optical practices throughout an assigned geography territory.

· Develop a thorough knowledge of Tura’s brand portfolio and keep up to date on changes and advancements in the brand portfolio.

· Deliver/exceed sales targets by consistently meeting with active accounts, seeking new opportunities, and building brand presence in the territory.

· Develop sales goals and prepare a sales plan and strategy with your Sales Director.

· Develop and maintain client relationships by meeting with each active account at least once every four to six weeks, or more frequently, as required in your sales plan.

· Network and develop new relationships that will allow you to identify and win new Tura customers in your territory.

· Work cooperatively with your Sales Director and all Tura Departments.

· Prepare accurate purchase orders.

· Maintain brand integrity through assortment representation, sell through initiatives and brand training.

· Participate in sales team meetings and trainings.

· Develop and continue a consistent call schedule to ensure all customers are serviced and supported for the Tura brands they carry.

· Actively seek new brand opportunities in the territory for all Tura brands, while ensuring that all existing accounts are meeting minimum sell through expectations and brand presentations.

· Provide timely written follow up in CRM database for all active and prospective accounts.

· Regular and predictable attendance on a full-time basis.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Lift, carry and/or move sample bags weighing up to 40 lbs.

· Strong listening skills and ability to identify and react to a customer’s business needs.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish rapport and develop relationships with customers and potential customers.

· Ability to work independently and exercise business judgment on a daily basis.

· Sales and negotiation skills.

· Accurate and timely preparation and submission of reports and purchase orders.

· Proficient use of sales-related software, including but not limited to the CRM database.

· Ability to spend the majority of your time interacting directly with clients and prospective clients.

· Regularly drive and travel with some overnights.

· Valid CA Driver’s License and automobile insurance.

Education and Experience:

· 2+ years of outside direct sales experience with a proven track record of success.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive, perform manual tasks, concentrate, think, learn, communicate, sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, grasp, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with arms, talk and hear. The employee may frequently be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, push and pull. The employee is required to lift, carry and/or move up to 40 pounds on a daily basis. The employee is also required to be able to sit for extended periods while driving and/or traveling to customer and potential customer locations. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time outsides sales exempt position. You will be expected to work at least 40 hours a week. Tura’s business hours are typically Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but work outside these times may be required (including to the extent necessary based on customer schedules/needs).
